About Mark Quigley

Formerly with Belevdere, Mark represented the Republic of Ireland at every stage at underage level. He began his professional career in London making twenty first team appearances for Millwall in the 2004 season. But a back injury stalled his progress and he moved on loan to Shamrock Rovers in 2005. At the start of 2006 he signed for St Patrick's Athletic where he spent three years before moving to Bohemians for 2010. In January 2011 he signed for Ian Foster at Dundalk.

After one season at Oriel Park, Mark signed for Sligo Rovers in December 2011. He made 25 league appearances for the Bit O' Red in 2012 as the club won their first league title since 1977, and scored ten league goals. But he moved on at the end of that year, signing for new Shamrock Rovers boss Trevor Croly on 18 November 2012. Mark made his debut for Shamrock Rovers in a Setanta Cup game against Coleraine on 11 February 2013 but it would prove an unsettled season for him and he made just 13 league appearances for the Hoops, scoring three league goals. He did pick up a Setanta Cup winner's medal, coming on as a substitute in the 7-1 win against Drogheda United in the final, though he played no part in the EA Cup final win against the same opposition.

At the end of the 2013 season Mark's contract at Shamrock Rovers was torn up and days later he signed for the reigning league champions St Patrick's Athletic. He went on to make 19 league appearances over the 2014 season, scoring only one goal, in a 1-1 draw with Bohemians, as St Pats finished third.

In July 2015 it was announced that Derry had signed the striker, who had failed to secure a club at the start of the season due to ongoing injury concerns. He went on to make 13 league appearances, mainly from the bench, as Derry finished seventh in the Premier Division. In 2016 Mark returned to Bohemians under Keith Long where he played in 26 of the Gypsies' 33 league games, scoring three times.
